TEACH CULINARY
Development of New Culinary Education Programs

Educated Eats provides its partners with everything needed to develop and implement a culinary arts program, including:
  • drafting or recommending relevant curriculum
  • providing safe food handling instruction, materials, and certification
  • organizing teacher training/workshops
  • planning field trips to restaurants, farms, restaurant suppliers (seafood, produce, bakeries, etc.)
  • finding job shadowing/mentoring/job placement opportunities
  • preparing for local, regional, and national culinary skills competitions
  • recruiting faculty
  • scheduling guest speakers
  • designing teaching kitchens, or advising on renovations or upgrades of existing culinary facilities
  • facilitating and negotiating discounted acquisition of restaurant equipment and food
  • ordering teaching materials
  • organizing college fairs
  • advising schools of industry trends and developments
  • providing information on student scholarships for post-secondary education
  • organizing culinary career fairs
